I don't know how,if at all possible, to contact you directly through this site, so I'll try this.

I saw your pics with the Kubota with the grapple. It looks like it works great. Did you make it, or can I buy one? (the grapple) I have a 3430.

74, Thanks for the interest. I made it for piling logs. I think it's superior to pallet forks because you don't have to get underneith the log while it rolls away from you. You just reach down and pick it up. I don't know anyone that makes them for sale but someone should. They're cheap to make, are pretty simple and work well. I put a schematic diagram on pic #11 to show the construction. It took one evening to cut out with a chop saw and another evening to weld it up.

I just finished taking out a second truck load of spruce pulpwood from my overgrown christmas tree plot. That job is now finished and I have another $1K to spend :).

Below is a link to another discussion of the grapple from the past, plus there is another discussion back there somewhere where we talked about it too.

If you decide to make one I would be happy to give you any advice you might need.
Dave ....

Dave, thanks for the info, I'll try to mock up a set with card-board.

Thanks again,
